Rupert Ratio - About the Author

Rupert Ratio is an "Agony Uncle" for members of the BSA Owners Club offering advice and assistance when their beloved Beesas are beset by mechanical afflictions. He carries out the latter under his real name of Dave Smith, who was a design technology teacher by profession.

Dave and his wife Lisa, also a keen rider, live in rural Shropshire where Dave works from home restoring BSA Unit Single engines. His knowledge and expertise is regularly called upon, often receiving letters requiring advice through the BSA Owners Club.
